Jack has a follow-up appointment with Dr. Federman on March 21st, for his scheduled 3 month exam. Jack will be seen this first year, every three months, year's 2&3 every six months, and year's 4&5 once a year.
On this past Monday, March 7th, Jack had a routine Chest CT scan (remember if Synovial Sarcoma travels, it will travel only to the lungs or re-appear in the hand). We received a call Wednesday with the AWESOME news that the scan was CLEAR! Jack was with me when I got the call. All I can say is my few moments after the phone call with my son brings me to tears even now, it was very special.
Jack is not letting 1 less finger stop him from being active and trying new things. He tried out for the high school golf team and made the JV team. Yes, and mom was brought to tears again. What an accomplishment. Jack and his friends also hike up to the local foothills above our house to mountain bike and film their riding. Jack has decided he enjoys the filming side more than the biking. The following is their video. Jack has known Bryan and Andrew since pre-school.
- check off film making from Jack's list...
Jack and his friends, Andrew and Bryan, have been busy this past month putting together the following iMovie. Andrew and Bryan are the bikers, Jack is the camera man. Enjoy.
