No Pain - No Gain

Jack's therapy evaluation went really well yesterday, 1/11/11.  His therapist, Aaron, was very positive about the strength Jack has starting out in his hand, he even had Jack and I dual it out in a strength battle.  :)
The session ended with Aaron giving Jack words of encouragement about working at his hand exercises everyday and not getting upset with mom and dad for giving him reminders.

Therapy resumed again today, and will continue twice a week for the next month.  Tom took Jack to Casa Colina today and observed the full session.  Aaron really had Jack work out hard today, but he came home with a smile and a lot of positive words to say.

I think this past Saturday was a turning point in Jack's healing.  He told me today that it felt so good to let his emotions loose.  Jack said it felt like a huge weight was lifted off his shoulders and chest and that he can breathe now.  He even returned to the high school bible group at the church behind our house.  GOD is Great.

We are so blessed to have such an awesome "team" on Jack's side.  Thank you to all the doctors, nurses, therapists, technicians, family, and friends.
